Net Zero Energy Certified

Another net zero energy home, this one is Earth Advantage certified Net Zero — a first for Eugene. Design priorities for this two-story new home included energy efficiency (enhanced insulation, tight building seal, passive solar), natural light and an open feel, natural materials, and an energy network that includes photovoltaic solar, heat pump, radiant floor heat, and wood-burning Morso stove. The house original to the site was deconstructed and all usable components were donated to BRING.

Photovoltaic system, grid-tied, 9.72 kW

Natural materials: brick, slate, Marmoleum, wool carpeting
