As always, we were blessed with wonderful clients who came with a strong notion of environmental responsibility. The result, thanks to the integral involvement of Jan Fillinger of Studio-E, is a true modern beauty. Features include: triple pane windows, staggered stud framing, an air to water heat pump, heat recovery ventilation, PV and solar thermal, foam insulation, radiant heat in colored concrete floors throughout, formaldehyde-free cabinets, and plant oil finishes.

The difficult site presented a challenge: the discovery of gabions saved the project (click on photo above to see). The lovely landscaping was designed by Lovinger/Robertson Landscape Architects.
