About ECO

Before green building was called “green building,” early practitioners referred to their efforts as “ecobuilding.” ECO’s name preserves this reference. Green building has evolved considerably since those early days and ECO has been at the forefront. Though we now include design and energy modeling services ECO remains a small company, growing slowly to maintain quality. Founder James McDonald oversees every job while increasingly deferring to his crew of dedicated professionals.
